Played inside linebacker at Aledo … three-year letterman who was elected as team captain by his teammates as a senior … helped lead Aledo to the 2011 and 2013 Class 4A Division II state championships … named All-State Second-Team defense and Dave Campbell’s Super Elite team as a senior … chosen District 7-4A All-District Defensive Player of the Year … named to the All-DFW-Fort Worth Second-Team by VYPE magazine …  recorded 149 tackles (82 solo, 67 assists) and five sacks … also forced two fumbles, recovered a fumble and broke up three passes as a senior … helped lead the Bearcats to an undefeated 16-0 record and No. 25 national ranking in 2013… Aledo outscored its opponents 1,023-147 that season … named Defensive MVP in state championship game after leading the Bearcats with seven tackles … named All-State Honorable Mention by Texas Sportswriters Association as a junior … earned All-District 7-4A First-Team honors after leading Aledo with 120 tackles, including 78 solo stops … also logged three sacks, eight tackle for losses, eight quarterback hurries, one interception and three fumble recoveries.
