Most improved offensive lineman on team ... made 12 starts at left offensive guard ... ranked third among team leaders with 34 knockdown blocks ... had 25 STRAIN Blocks (blocks through the whistle or finishing blocks) ...  part of offensive line that helped Bobcats improve offense by 109.5 yards per game and rushing offense by 53.8 yards per game.
 
2016 
Played in 10 games on the offensive line ... made six starts at guard ... made his first career start
at left guard in the season-opening win at Ohio ... also started the last five contests at right guard.

Sat out as a redshirt.

Named a two-star recruit by Rivals.com, 247Sports.com and Scout.com ... named Class 4A All-State Honorable Mention by Associated Press Sports Editors ... earned All-District 8-4A Second-Team honors as a senior ... lettered in both football and track and field at Wills Point ... Named All-District 14-3A First-Team offensive lineman after recording 66 pancake blocks and surrendering just one sack as a junior ... also named All-East Texas Honorable Mention ... was on the District All-Academic team ... named an All-District Second-Team selection ... selected as the MVP of the track and field team as sophomore and junior ... member of the National Honor Society and ranked among Top 20 students in his class.
