Attended Rouse High School in Leander … with a 12-for-16 effort at the plate in the playoffs last season, she led her team to an Area and District Championship … in 2014, she was named the Offensive Player of the Year and MVP at her high school in addition to earning First-Team All-Central Texas honors … in 2013, she was also her team's Offensive Player of the Year while earning District 25-4A Newcomer of the Year honors … she was selected as a TGCA All-State player … Norte was on the All-Academic team since her freshman season and played travel ball for the Austin Storm.
