Played in nine games … recorded 36 tackles, including 27 solo stops … tied for the team lead with four interceptions … ranked 17th nationally and  second among Sun Belt Conference leaders with an average of 0.44 interceptions per game… had a season-best of six tackles against New Mexico State … had four stops versus Navy, Illinois, Tulsa and Georgia Southern … intercepted two passes and broke up a pass versus Idaho … also broke up a pass at Tulsa … intercepted passes against Navy and New Mexico State … had a season-long 22-yard interception return at New Mexico State.

Played in eight games… recorded eight tackles … had a season-high of four tackles at Arkansas State … registered three solo tackles at UL Lafayette … had one tackle against Western Kentucky … intercepted a pass against Texas Tech.

Named a three-star recruit by Rivals.com … played for head coach Dereck Rush at Oak Ridge High School in Conroe, Texas … semi-finalist for the Houston Touchdown Club Player of the Year award … earned All-District 14-5A honors … recorded 63 tackles, including 57 solo stops with an interception, forced fumble and fumble recovery … had 54 tackles and an interception during the 2011 season … member of Oak Ridge’s track and field team … member of the National Honor Society.
