2008: Played in 13 games and made eight starts at cornerback ... registered 39 tackles, including 24 solo ... broke up nine passes ... had a season-best six tackles against Southern Utah and Texas Southern ... also broke up a season-high three passes against Southern Utah ... had four tackles and broke up two passes at Northern Colorado ... began his career with four tackles against Angelo State ... returned six punts for 19 yards ... has a season-long punt return of 21 yards versus Sam Houston State ... returned eight kickoffs for 213 yards after gaining 110 yards on four kickoff returns at Southeastern Louisiana ... had four kickoff returns for 103 yards against Northwestern State.

College: Played corner and kick/punt returner during the last two years at Iowa State ... saw extensive action as a freshman when he recorded six tackles in five games as a sophomore. He also returned seven punts for 48 yards and seven kickoffs for 158 yards in 2007 as well ... longest kickoff return was 39 yards and he also had Iowa State[apos]s longest punt return of 14 yards ... played in 11 games and recorded 19 tackles, including 14 unassisted for Iowa State in 2006 ... returned nine kickoffs for 142 yards ... his longest return that season was 23 yards.

High School: Was a two-sport athlete in high school at Beaumont West Brook in football and track ... twice named All-District 21-5A as a defensive back and was also a member of the Beaumont Enterprise Super Gold Team ... 2006 Rivals.com two-star recruit ... placed second at the state track meet his senior year in the 400m ... also was regional champion in the 200m ... high school coach was Craig Stump.
