Sterling Price is in his first year as an assistant equipment manager at Texas State after serving the last seven years as an equipment manager in the NCAA Division I and NFL ranks.

Price began his career in equipment operations as a student manager at Oklahoma State from 2012-16. During that span, the Cowboys won the 2012 Heart of Dallas Bowl, 2014 Cactus Bowl and participated in the 2016 Sugar Bowl.

After earning his bachelor’s degree in sports management and marketing in 2015, Price became an equipment manager for the Dallas Cowboys from 2016-18. While he was on the staff, the Cowboys won the 2016 NFC Eastern Division and earned a playoff win in 2018.
