Reggie Marshall joined Texas State in February 2023 as a defensive analyst. He primarily works with the defensive line.
Before joining Texas State, Marshall spent the 2022 season at UIW on head coach GJ Kinne’s staff as a defensive quality control coach. He assisted with the defensive line and helped take the Cardinals to the FCS Playoffs semifinals and win a Southland Conference championship.
Marshall began his stint at UIW in 2020 and spent two seasons as a graduate assistant.
Marshall’s first coaching job was at Madill High School (OK), where he coached defensive ends. He also served as an assistant at Durant Physical Therapy and trainer and coach at C4 Sports Performance and Fitness.
In his collegiate career, Marshall was an outside linebacker at Southeastern Oklahoma State from 2013-17. He redshirted in 2013 and went on to play in 44 career games. He totaled 116 tackles, 13.5 TFLs and 6.0 sacks.
Marshall played his prep career at Lake Highlands High School in Dallas. He was an all-city selection and all-state honorable mention.
Marshall earned his bachelor’s degree from Southeastern Oklahoma State in 2017.
