Texas State Athletics

Mehrzad (Mikey) Sabzevari is in his fourth season as an assistant video coordinator at Texas State. His duties include editing video content for Texas State’s football web page and football social media accounts, creating recruiting videos, highlights and promotional videos, and filming football practices and games.

Sabzevari joined Texas State’s football staff in August 2018 after he served as the football video coordinator at Northwestern State during the 2017 season. He began his career as a videographer for the Texas Longhorn football team while earning his bachelor’s degree in physical culture and sport.

A native of League City, Texas, Sabzevari was a recipient of the Presidential Award for Academic Excellence while attending Dickinson High School.
