John Streicher is in his second season as Texas State’s director of football operations after serving two years on James Madison’s football staff. In 2015, he was named the director of football operations and player personnel at James Madison, where he was responsible for the day-to-day operations of the JMU football program and oversaw JMU’s football recruiting and roster. He served as a special assistant to the head coach in his first year at James Madison.
Streicher went to James Madison after spending six seasons on the football staff at Ohio State. He worked the first four years as an equipment manager and his final two years as a student assistant with the defensive staff when he worked with the defensive secondary under Withers.
Streicher earned his bachelor’s degree in 2012 and master’s degrees in 2014 at Ohio State. A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, he is married to the former Caroline Farrar.
