John Reid was a graduate assistant coach for Texas State's offense and worked with the offensive line in 2014 and 2015 after serving the previous four seasons as a volunteer student assistant for the Bobcats.
Reid worked with Texas State’s defense in 2010-11, before working with the offensive line in 2011-12, running backs in the spring of 2013 and quarterbacks in 2013-14.
He came to Texas State from Wimberly High School, where he played football before a back injury forced him to sit out his junior and senior seasons and pursue a career in coaching football. Reid also served as a volunteer coach in high school 7-on-7 camps.
