John Holloway is in his second year as an assistant equipment manager at Texas State after serving as a student assistant coach at Minnesota from 2011-14. There, he worked in the equipment room and helped the Golden Gopher defensive line and quarterbacks coaches in practices and games. He also assisted in setting up the team locker room on game days.
While he was at Minnesota, the Golden Gophers played in the Meineke Car Care Bowl in 2012 and the Texas Bowl in 2013.
Born Aug. 13, 1991 in Burnsville, Minn., Holloway earned a bachelor’s degree in communications and a minor in business at Minnesota in 2014.
