Dick Miller

Dick Miller is in his seventh season as the Texas State football program’s equipment manager.  Miller came to Texas State from North Texas, where he was the assistant equipment manager for six seasons.

In addition to his duties at North Texas, Miller was the head equipment manager for the Rhein Fire of NFL Europe in 2007 and  the assistant equipment manager for NFL Europe’s Berlin Thunder from 2002-06. While he was with Berlin, the Thunder won a pair of World Bowl championships in 2002 and 2004. Miller also served as an intern at  training camps for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2001 and the San Diego Chargers in 2002.

Miller also was a student equipment manager at Florida State from 1995-00, and worked with four bowl teams as the Seminoles played in the 1996 Orange Bowl, 1998 and 2000 Sugar Bowls and the 1999 Fiesta Bowl. Florida State also won the 1999 national championship.
