Texas State Athletics

Clayton Barnes is in his second season as the director of player development at Texas State after serving one year as an offensive quality control coach and recruiting assistant for the Bobcats in 2016.
 
Barnes came to Texas State after serving as an offensive intern at Sam Houston State in 2015. He also was a volunteer assistant football coach at A&M Consolidated High School from 2013-15 while he was a student at Texas A&M.
 
He earned a bachelor’s degree in sports management at Texas A&M in 2015.
