Selected Preseason All-Sun Belt Conference Third-Team by Phil Steele and College Sports Madness.

2012
Started 12 games as a quick guard … led the Bobcats with 60 pancake blocks and eight 10-yard blocks… tallied eight knockdowns against Houston and Texas Tech … recorded seven knockdowns against Louisiana Tech and six in three other games (Idaho, Navy and UTSA) … had five pancakes against Stephen F. Austin … netted six 10-yard blocks at Houston … also had a 10-yard block against Idaho and Louisiana Tech … received the team’s “Big Hit of the Game” award against Houston and Stephen F. Austin … had a block that led to a touchdown against Utah State.

2011
Played in 11 games and made seven starts at center … ranked third among team leaders with 51½ pancake blocks ... recorded 10 pancakes versus Stephen F. Austin and Southeastern Louisiana ... graded 90 percent or better in three games and 89 percent in two other contests.

2010
Sat out the season as a redshirt.

Chosen to play in the Texas High School Coaches All-Star game ... named All-District 8-3A First-Team and Academic Team selections in 2009 ... was an Honorable Mention Academic All-State choice ... named Wimberley’s Offensive Lineman of the Year ... helped lead Wimberly to a 9-4 record as a senior ... played for Weldon Nelms ... also was selected Homecoming King.
