Played in all 12 games and made two starts at defensive back … recorded 60 tackles (37 solo), two interceptions, one sack, one forced fumble, and one quarterback hurry in 2011 … ranked second among team in interceptions and pass breakups and third in tackles … had two tackles at Texas Tech … led team with 13 tackles (nine solo) and an interception at Wyoming … had four tackles (two solo) and a fumble recovery versus Tarleton State … registered eight tackles (two solo) at Stephen F. Austin … recorded three solo stops, one sack, and one quarterback hurry against Nicholls … had six tackles (three solo) at McNeese … logged four tackles (two solo) versus Lamar … forced a fumble at Southeastern Louisiana to go along with nine tackles (six solo) … had two tackles (one solo) against Northwestern State… posted six tackles (five solo) at Prairie View A&M … registered an interception at Central Arkansas … tallied three solo stops against Sam Houston State.

PREVIOUS SCHOOL
Played under Gary Barlow for two seasons … named defensive captain and All-Conference … his career stats included returning two interceptions for touchdowns, recording 55 tackles, blocking one FG attempt … was the second leading tackler on team … his top performance was when he had six tackles and returned an interception for a touchdown versus Merced JC.  

HIGH SCHOOL
Served as team captain and was named the team’s MVP … recorded seven interceptions and 35 tackles.
