2019 CROSS COUNTRY
Competed in four meets…had a season-best finish with a seventh-place showing at the UIW Opener… posted a season-best five-kilometer time of 18:18.4 at the Chile Pepper Festival.
2019 OUTDOOR
Earned All-Sun Belt Second-Team honors… won the 800-meter race at the Bobcat Classic with a time of 2:16.53… was the silver medalist in the 5000 meters with a season-best time of 17:11.26 at the Sun Belt Championships… paced seventh in the 10-kilometer race at the Sun Belt meet with a season-best time of 37:32.51.
2019 INDOOR
Had four top 10 finishes…helped Texas State distance medley relay team finish second at the Sun Belt Indoor Championships… finished in third place in the 3000m at the Jaguar Invitational… had a fifth-place finish in the mile at the Mark Colligan Memorial meet.
2018 OUTDOOR
One top 10 finish... Runner-up in 3000m in season best time of 10:39.81 at the Texas Invitational... Posted season best marks in the 800m (2:25.57) and 1500m (4:47.30) at the Bobcat Invitational.
2018 INDOOR
One top 10 finish... Ran season best time of 5:26.73 in the mile at the New Mexico Team Invitational... Placed fifth with season best time of 2:28.08 in the 800m at LSU Purple Tiger.
HIGH SCHOOL
Graduated from La Feria High School in La Feria, Texas... Qualified three times for UIL 4A state cross country meet (2013, 2015 & 2017)... Finished in sixth place at the state meet as a senior... Claimed individual regional championship in 2016... Four-year member of the band... Member of the La Feria Gold-Stars High School Drill Team in 2014 and 2015 and earned All-American honorable mention honors.
PERSONAL
Daughter of Biatris and Martin Sierra... Has two older sisters, Amanda and Kimberly... Majoring in pre-rehabilitation sciences.
