Named to the 2025 Sun Belt Cross Country Women’s Second Team... Placed 13th at the Sun Belt Cross Country Championships with a personal-best time (17:42.9)... Placed 12th in the 5k at the UIW Invitational (18:22.1)... Placed fourth in the 4k at the UIW Twilight with a personal-best time... Competed in six meets during the cross country season and recorded three top-15 finishes...
2024 SEASON (FRESHMAN)
In her first season as a Bobcat, Garcia recorded three top-10 finishes, including a fifth-place finish at the Old Glory Gallop, where she set a PR of 17:45.5.... At the SBC meet,she placed 20th overall and was the second freshman to cross the finish line.... In the five meets she competed in during her freshman season, she led the Bobcats in two of them.... Her PR in the 5k at the Arturo Barrios Invite was the best time recorded by a freshman in the SBC this season.
