Played in 11 games … made seven starts at defensive end … recorded 19 tackles, including 11 solo stops … had two sacks and two tackles for loss … tallied a season-best seven tackles at Tulsa … had three solo stops against the Golden Hurricane … had five tackles, including four solo stops, against Idaho … registered three tackles at New Mexico State … recovered a fumble at South Alabama and had a quarterback hurry against Idaho.

Moved to defensive end after playing as a tight end in junior college … played in 12 games … recorded five tackles…had two stops and a quarterback sack for a loss of six yards at Idaho … also had a tackle against Southern Miss, Wyoming and Western Kentucky.

Previous School

Helped lead Chabot to back-to-back Golden Gate Conference championships for the first time in 27 seasons … played in the 2011 Capital City Bowl and the 2012 Top of the State Bowl …well regarded blocking tight end with 57 pancake blocks in run-oriented offense … caught four passes for 62 yards in four games as a sophomore … recorded two catches for 10 yards as a freshman … played for coach Danny Calcagno at Chabot.

Was a tight end and defensive back at Newark Memorial High School.
