Played in 11 games ... made seven starts ... ranked second among team leaders and 17th in the Sun Belt Conference with 7.8 tackles per game ... had a total of 80 tackles, including 45 solo tackles ... broke up three passes ... had two tackles for loss of four yards ... registered a career-best of 17 tackles at ULM .. also had 12 stops versus New Mexico State and South Alabama ... recorded nine tackles in his first start of the season against Navy ... also tallied eight stops, including a tackle for a loss of three yards, versus Georgia Southern ... broke up a pass against Idaho, ULM and Arkansas State.

Selected to play in the 2011 Texas High School Coaches Association All-Star Football Classic ... also played in the FCA All-Star game ... recorded nearly 550 career tackles at Kerens ... had 149 tackles, 28 tackles for loss, eight sacks, two fumbles recoveries, forced 3 fumbles and intercepted 1 pass as a senior in 2010 ... earned Class 1A All-State honors as a senior ... named the Golden Circle’s Defensive Player of the Year as a junior and senior and was a three-time All-Area selection ... was named Sixth Man of the Year as a point guard in basketball ... recorded a fifth-place in shot put for track and field team at Class 2A State Championships with a mark of 51-feet, 2.75 inches.
