Texas State Athletics has been a proud partner with the Veteran Tickets Foundation (Vet Tix) for several years. Vet Tix is a nonprofit organization founded by veterans dedicated to support and honor the US. military community, veterans and their families.
Texas State Athletics supports the mission of Vet Tix through providing tickets to events which reduce stress, strengthen family bonds, build life-long memories and encourage service members and veterans to stay engaged with local communities and American life.
Vet Tix supports our troops by honoring their service and providing positive family and life experiences, during and after their years of service to our country. Vet Tix provides tickets to all branches of currently serving military and veterans.
Who does VetTix serve?
ALL Branches of our Military and their Families:
- ALL Currently Serving Military and their Families.
- ALL Honorably Discharged Veterans and their Families.
- ALL Immediate Family of any Troops Killed-In-Action.
Vet Tix enriches the lives of our Military and Veterans by providing reintegration opportunities and family bonding experiences by providing free tickets to socially interactive events.

Donating tickets to Vet Tix is a FREE electronic service for volleyball, football, women’s basketball, men’s basketball, baseball and softball. TXST fans can also purchase Heroes Day ticket packages for select sports with the tickets donated to Vet Tix.
Can I donate my tickets to Vet Tix?
Season ticket holders and single game buyers for volleyball, football, women’s basketball, men’s basketball, baseball and softball can donate tickets to Vet Tix.
How do I donate my tickets to Vet Tix?
Tickets can be donated to Vet Tix using the free Ticket Transfer service by email only to donate@vettix.org.
For information on how to use free Ticket Transfer service, please email gametickets@txstate.edu.
How does the recipient receive my tickets?
Once you complete the steps of donating tickets to Vet Tix, Vet Tix takes care of finding a home for your ticket(s). Vet Tix has an extensive screening process to make sure that your donated ticket(s) find a home.
How do I know my donated tickets were used?
Approximately two weeks following the event, patrons that donate their season tickets will receive an email notification “Thank You” from the recipient. See past Thank Yous.
Is my donation to Vet Tix tax-deductible?
Yes. Patrons that donate their season tickets will receive an e-mail communication at a later date outlining that the taxable benefits of their donation.
What happens to my original tickets once the tickets have been donated to Vet Tix?
Your original tickets are no longer valid for admission. Any individual presenting invalid tickets for admission will be denied entry into an event.
Why can I not see my tickets available to donate to Vet Tix?
If you have previously posted your tickets for sale on Seat Geek, please remember that you must DELETE your listing from Seat Geek, and not just DEACTIVATE your listing, for your inventory to appear for you to donate your tickets.
