Starters for tonight were Ryan White, John Bowman, Travis Jones, Tony Bishop and Jonathan Sloan.

Tony Bishop scored the first two points of the game off a feed from John Bowman.

Texas State’s 21 points at halftime was a season-low. Previous halftime low was 24 points against Texas on Dec. 11. The Bobcats also recorded a season-low in points scored with 64.

Freshman guard Stevie Rogers made his collegiate debut tonight. He played 16 minutes.

A.J. Stewart netted 10 points and eight rebounds for his fifth double-digit scoring game.

Travis Jones has made at least one 3-pointer in seven of the Bobcats last eight games. He is on a six-game 3-point streak. He matched his season-high with 19 points for his third double-digit performance this season, to go along with nine rebounds.

Tony Bishop continued his double-digit scoring streak with 10 points tonight and five rebounds. Bishop is the only Bobcat to record double figures in every game this season.

MVP of the Heritage Classic for the Bobcats was Travis Jones.
