Named Honorable Mention All-Sun Belt Conference … started 12 games as a defensive tackle … ranked fifth among team leaders with 61 total tackles … recorded 2.0 tackles for loss, a 0.5 sack, one quarterback hurry, and one pass breakup … recorded a season-high 10 tackles against Wyoming … tallied seven assisted tackles versus Appalachian State … registered six stops versus Georgia State.
 
2018
Started all 12 games on the defensive line…had 10 starts as a defensive tackle and two starts at nose tackle…recorded 41 tackles, including 17 solo stops…had 3.5 tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks…broke up three passes and had one quarterback hurry…had season-highs of seven tackles and five solo stops at ULM…recorded six tackles against Georgia Southern and Appalachian State…tallied 1.0 tackle for loss against ULM, Georgia Southern and Arkansas State…pass breakups came at Rutgers, South Alabama and Troy.

Played in nine games as a nose tackle ... made three starts before missing the last three games ... tallied 26 tackles to rank second among Texas State’s defensive lineman ... recorded a season-high five tackles and four solo stops against UTSA ... registered four stops against ULM and Coastal Carolina ... logged a sack to go along with three tackles against Houston Baptist ... tallied a tackle for loss against Houston Baptist and ULM ... recovered a fumble against UTSA.
