2021 OUTDOOR
NCAA qualifier… placed 27th in the NCAA Division I West Preliminary Round for hammer throw… competed at 10 meets, with 17 top-five finishes… finished first in the shot put, discus, and hammer throw at the Texas State Bobcat Classic… posted a new career-best hammer throw measure of 64.86m (212' 9") and finished second at the UIW Invitational.
 
2021 INDOOR
Set a new career-best and finished first in the weight throw with a measure of 19.64m (64' 5.25") at the Sun Belt Indoor Track & Field Championships.

2020 INDOOR
Competed in five meets…posted seven top 10 finishes…best finish was a second-place in shot put at the UAB Vulcan Invitational with a mark of 15.87m…finished in fourth place at the Sun Belt Championships with a put f 15.47m…had a season-best mark of 18.78m at the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational…opened the season with a sixth-place finish in the weight throw (17.55m) at the Navy Invitational…finished in seventh place at the Red Raider Invitational and UAB Vulcan Invitational.
 
2019 OUTDOOR
Eight top 10 finishes… set a personal record during his season opener in shot put with a distance of 17.08m… battled during the Bobcat Classic clinching three third place wins in shot put, discus, and hammer throw… finished first in discus throw at the Sun Belt Conference Championships with a distance of 54.66m.
 
2019 INDOOR
 Competed in seven different events, six of which had top 10 finishes… set a personal record at the Mark Colligan Memorial with 18.52m in the weight throw… finished first in weight throw at the South Alabama Jaguar Invitational… posted a second and third place win in weight throw and shot put at conference championships.

2018 OUTDOOR
Competed in five meets... Recorded four top 10 finishes... Placed seventh in the discus with season best 49.86m at Sun Belt Outdoor Championships (5/12)... Recorded three top five finishes at the Bobcat Classic (4/27-28) in the shot put (15.53m), discus (48.59m) and hammer throw (44.97m)... Posted season best toss of 46.98m in the hammer throw at the Bobcat Invitational (3/30).

2018 INDOOR
Competed in two meets... Recorded two top 10 finishes... Threw a season best 13.83m in the weight throw at the Ted Nelson Invitational (1/12)... Placed eighth in the shot put with season best 13.67m at LSU Purple Tiger (1/5)... Came in ninth in the weight throw in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

HIGH SCHOOL
State qualifier in the discus after finishing as the runner-up at the Region IV-6A championships as a senior ... finished in fourth place at the State Championships ... won the discus at the District 13-6A and the Area Championships ... played on the offensive line for the football team.

PERSONAL
Born August 17...son of Robert and Melanie Busby...he is an avid fisherman...member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes...was named to the Dean's List in each of the past five semesters since the 2018 Spring semester.
