Played in 22 games where he averaged 8.3 minutes per game…averaged 2.0 points per game behind a 40.9 field goal percentage…pulled down 36 rebounds, handed out six assists, recorded three steals and one block…scored a season-high eight points vs. Mary Hardin-Baylor (Nov. 25, 2020), grabbed a season-best five rebounds at Mississippi State (Nov. 30, 2020), and added a season-high two assists vs. Little Rock (Feb. 6, 2021).Â

Martin, a highly sought-after recruit, was the first in the 2020 class to commit to Texas State...Martin was selected to the 2018-19 All-Conference First Team and a Final Four finalist at Nike Peach Jam (Houston Hoops)...Martin averaged 15 points, 11 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game..he had one game where he logged 29 points and 20 rebounds...in the classroom, Martin is a three-time Academic All-District selection and is a member of the National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta (Math Honor Society) and a Distinguished Honor Roll Member...also a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

Son of Josh and Jill Martin...was involved in his church youth group where he was a Young Life Student Leader...his favorite NBA teams are the Dallas Maevricks and Cowboys, and his favorite NBA player is Dirk Nowitzki...Some of Martin's hobbies are hiking and mountain biking...Majoring in finance.
