AS A SOPHOMORE (2016-17)
2017 Spring
Singles: Began the season in No. 4 spot and posted a pair of victories over Incarnate Word and UTSA… also won against Fernanda Astete with No. 29-ranked Rice… went on to win against Cal State Northridge in the No. 3 spot … also won three straight decisions in No. 3 matches against Lucile Delabarre of Louisiana, Shannon O’Brien of Arkansas State and Dominique Ibarra of UT Rio Grande Valley.
Doubles: Held an overall record of 12-6 in doubles play… Played in No. 2 spot with both Pippa Carr and Julia Navajo-Melendez … began with a 6-0 victory over Victoria Kareh and Sarah Savedra of Incarnate Word… posted a 6-2 win against UTSA and Colorado State while teaming with Carr… also combined with Carr to win 7-6 in a regional match against UT Rio Grande Valley … teamed with Navajo-Melendez for a 6-4 victory against ULM.
2016 Fall
Singles: Ranked second on the team with six victories and tallied a 6-6 record in the fall ... first win came against Taylor Shukow of Penn State at the Midland Racquet Club Intercollegiate ... also won a match versus Elisa Nelson of Air Force, Solen Crawley of Colorado State and Jordan Henry of Abilene Christian at the Air Force Invitational ...won a first-round match against Carrie Casey of Sam Houston State at the ITA Texas Regional Championships ... won her first No. 4 dual match against Prairie View A&M.
Doubles: Tallied two doubles victories during the fall ... teamed with Yadira Rubio to win a 6-4 decision against Colorado State at the Air Force Invitational ... also teamed with Julia Navajo Melendez to win a consolation match against Denver at the Rice Invitational.
AS A FRESHMAN (2015-16)
2016 Spring
Singles: Served as the No. 5 and No. 6 singles player and led the Bobcats with 10 victories ... began the season with a 2-1 mark in No. 6 matches ... first win came against Aakansksha Punj of Alcorn State (6-0, 6-2) ... had a three-set match against Elisa Nelson of Air Force (5-7, 7-6 (2), 1-0 (10-4) ... had an 8-7 mark in No. 5 matches ... her first victory in No. 5 contests came against Fernanda Astete of No. 32-ranked Rice (7-6 (10-8), 6-3) ... also won a three-set battle at UTEP ... first win in a Sun Belt Conference came against Sofia Krsmanovic of Arkansas State (6-1, 6-1) ... also won a match at UL Lafayette and UT Rio Grande Valley during the regular season ... had a win over Arkansas State’s Sabina Jeresic in the Sun Belt Tournament (6-2, 6-0).
Doubles: Teamed with Yadira Rubio as Texas State’s top doubles team ... they won six No. 1 matches ... first win came against Laura Valkova and Mich. Meszarosova of South Alabama (6-2) ... also won 7-5 against Nicholls State ... posted back to back wins against Northwestern State and Alcorn State ... won a 6-3 victory over Julie Gaguery and Victoria Roberts of Arkansas State in the first round of the Sun Belt Tournament (6-3).
2015 Fall
Singles: Sat out most of the fall with an injury ... split a pair of matches at the ITA/USTA Texas Regional Championships ... posted her first collegiate victory in singles after winning a third-set super tiebreaker over Rachel Sadiq of Incarnate Word by a score of 0-6, 6-3, 10-4.
Doubles: Played in four doubles matches at the Rice Invitational and the ITA/USTA Texas Regional Champinships ... teamed with Pippa Carr to win a 6-4 decision agianst Sam Houston State at Rice.
HIGH SCHOOL
Joined Texas State's roster after being ranked No. 1 in the state of Pichincha and No. 2 among Ecuadorian under 18 players ... was ranked No. 511 in the ITF and represented Ecuador in the South American Games.
