2012-13: Hawkins averaged 6.4 points and 2.5 rebounds per game in 2012-13. The point guard led Texas State in assists with 90 for an average of 2.64 per game. He had a season-high of eight assists two times, in addition to ranking third in the league in assist to turnover ratio. Hawkins started 20 of 34 games with seven double figure performances. He netted a career-high 16 points in the win at Idaho going 6-for-10 from the floor.
