Austin (Jan. 4) … had a career-high three blocks against Huston-Tillotson (Dec. 28) … recorded two or more blocks in a game three times.

High School: Letterwinner at Wakeland High School under coach Brent Benningfield … listed as one of the Top 24 high school players by Texas Hoops after averaging 16.2 points and 7.2 rebounds and 2.6 blocked shots per game at Wakeland … four-time All-District First Team member … newcomer of the year … district all-offensive and defensive player … all-region and all-state honoree … McDonalds All-American nominee … participated in the Top 10 Texas vs. Top 10 Oklahoma game … all-academic first team honoree.
