Was a member of the International Junior Golf Tour where he competed in over 15 tournaments...carded five top-fives and two first-place finishes in his initial year on tour... added two top-five finishes in the 2008 and 2009 IJGT Tournament of Champions...won the 2009 2nd annual BMW Hank Haney Invitational and was the 2008 Mexican National Interzonals champion...academically was in the top five of his class at Universidad del Alica while competing in both golf and soccer...elevated to the No. 1 player for his age range in Mexico in 2008 and 2009...was ranked No. 4 in the country as of January 2010.

Son of Juan Carlos and Maria del Carmen ... has two siblings, Vicente and Tsidro ... enjoys playing soccer ... chose Texas State over Baylor.
