2012 : Played in 11 games as a wide receiver … caught four passes for 45 yards ... also recorded eight rushes on reverses for 113 yards and a touchdown...threw a 47-yard touchdown pass against then-No. 18-ranked Louisiana Tech...had a career-high of two receptions for 25 yards against Texas Tech ... his longest reception of the season was a 16-yard catch versus the Red Raiders ... also caught a 13-yard pass and ran three times for 49 yards and a touchdown against New Mexico State ... his longest run of the season was 25 yards versus Louisiana Tech ... logged a 17-yard carry against Idaho.

2011: Played in all 12 games and made two starts as the Bobcats “slash” player contributing at running back, wide receiver, and quarterback ... totaled 331 all-purpose yards and five touchdowns on the season doing most work at running back ... carried the ball six times for 37 yards at Texas Tech ... registered a personal-best 54-yard touchdown run versus Tarleton State ... tallied three touchdowns, two rushing, one receiving, versus Lamar ... had two receptions for 27 yards, as well as eight carries for 30 yards in the matchup ... recorded fourth touchdown run against Prairie View A&M on a 4-yard carry, also had one reception for 14 yards.

2010: Played in eight games and made five starts at quarterback, including the last four contests...completed 56 of his 107 passes for 694 yards and seven touchdowns ... also was the third-leading rusher for the Bobcats after gaining 312 yards and scoring two touchdowns on 75 carries ... completed 16 of his 26 passes for 231 yards and two touchdowns at Sam Houston State ... also led the Bobcats with 81 yards rushing and scored a touchdown on 13 carries against the Bearkats ... completed 13 of his 25 passes for 161 yards and a touchdown at McNeese State ... recorded 71 yards rushing and threw for 96 yards and two touchdowns against Central Arkansas ... earned SLC Offensive Player of the Week honors on Nov. 1 after running for 121 yards and touchdown and throwing for 194 yards and two more TDs at Stephen F. Austin ... ran three times for 13 yards against Northwestern State ... ran for 10 yards against Cal Poly ... had two carries for 16 yards against Southern Arkansas ... made his first collegiate start as a quarterback at Houston ... threw for 12 yards and ran for seven yards versus the Cougars.


2009: Played in 10 games … made two starts as a receiver … rushed 20 times for 165 yards to rank fourth among team rushing leaders … had two carries for 59 yards and one touchdown against Southeastern Louisiana … also rushed 57 yards on one carry at Northwestern State … caught one pass for six yards against McNeese State ... completed five of his nine passes for 36 yards and one touchdown … his longest pass was a 16-yard touchdown to Daren Dillard at TCU … completed two of his six passes at Southern Utah for 12 yards … also completed his only pass for four yards against McNeese State.


2008: Sat out the season as a redshirt.


High School: Was a three-year letterman for Coach Terry Morris at Carroll High School ... played wide receiver as a sophomore before starting his last two seasons at quarterback ... led Carroll to an 8-3 record and playoff experience in 2007 ... finished the season with 1,416 yards passing and 14 touchdown passes while rushing for 747 yards and 10 more touchdowns ... was named First-Team All-District for 28-5A, First-Team All-Metro and All-South Texas ... also lettered on Carroll’s basketball team and is a regional qualifier in the 300m hurdles in track.


Personal: Born May 11, 1990 ... son of Tim and Larissa Hawkins ... relative of Olympic Gold Medalist and Texas State Alumnus Charles Austin ... has one brother, Courtney ... major is recreational administration.
