Biography
2010: Competed in the long jump at the SLC Indoor Championships with a jump of 4.98 meters (16-4 1/4) … placed 11th in the triple jump at the SLC Indoor Championships with a distance of 11.47 meters (37-7 3/4) … jumped 1.65 meters (5-5) at the SLC Indoor Championships to place fifth in the high jump … placed third in the pentathlon at the SLC Indoor Championships with 3, 468 points … placed second in the high jump event for the pentathlon with a jump of 1.74 meters (5-8 1/2) … recorded a time of 9.38 in the 60-meter hurdles at UH Invite.
2009: Competed at the SLC Indoor Championships, placing fifth in the pentathlon with 3,365 points while recording a height of 1.68 meters (5-6) in the high jump … at the Dr. Pepper Invite, had a height of 1.70 meters (5-7) for a second place finish … won the javelin at the UTSA Relays with a throw of 31.67 meters and jumped 1.73 meters in the high jump to take third … had a leap of 1.70 meters (5-7) I n the high jump at the Texas Relays … placed second in the heptathlon at the SLC Outdoors with a point total of 4,769 … took first in the heptathlon high jump with a height of 1.81 (5-11 1/2) meters to qualify for the NCAA Midwest Regional … jumped 1.70 meters (5-7) at the NCAA Midwest Regional to qualify for the NCAA Championships.
2008: Placed eighth in the high jump at the SLC Indoor Championships with a height of 1.63 meters (5-4.25) … won the pentathlon with a final point tally of 3,577, finishing first in both the long jump and high jump … had a time of 28.36 in the 200 meters at the Texas Invitational … had a time of 15.57 in the 100-meter hurdles at the Texas Invitational and placed fifth in the high jump with a height of 1.60 meters (5-3) … placed sixth in the high jump at the SLC Outdoors with a height of 1.65 meters (5-5).
2007: Placed sixth in the women’s pentathlon at the Southland Conference Indoor Championships, scoring 3,271 points … competed in the high jump at the SLC Indoors … places ninth in the high jump at the Houston invitational with a mark of 1.57 meters (5-1.75).
High School: Lettered three years in cross country as well as track … won the District 27-5A championship in high jump … had a personal best high jump of 5-4 to set a school record … prep team won district and regional championships three consecutive seasons … also lettered in basketball.
Personal: Born January 1, 1988 in Rosenheim, Germany to John and Libby Evans … has three brothers … major is international studies.
