Biography
2010:
Started 41 games in left field … made 46 appearances … batted .256 with 23 hits and eight runs on the year … recorded a career-high four hits in a 6-4 extra inning win over UTSA on the road...went 3-for-3 with an RBI double in a 7-6 come¬back victory over Nicholls...recorded five multiple hit games ... longest hit streak of the season was four … hit her first career grand slam in the first round of the SLC Tournament to lift Texas State to a 10-1 rout of UTA in five innings.
2009:
Was named to the 2009 All-Southland Conference All-Tournament Team...appeared in 43 games, starting 40 in left field...hit .173 on the year, coming up big for the Bobcats as the season went on...in 98 at-bats recorded 15 runs, eight RBI, six doubles and two home runs...hit .333 in a 9-6 win over Texas, going 2-for-2 from the plate with two runs and an RBI (Feb. 11)...hit the game winning home run against McNeese State in the second round of the SLC Tournament (Mar. 8)...went 4-for-8 in the SLC Tournament with two runs, three RBI and two home runs.
2008:
Started 10 of 27 games for the Bobcats…recorded five hits, seven runs, two RBI’s, a double and a triple…against UMKC had two runs, a hit and a double to help Texas State to a 4-0 shutout…on the defensive end she tallied 12 put-outs and one assist…had a season-high three put-outs against Nevada…recorded a stolen base against Texas, helping the Bobcats capture a 3-1 win over the Longhorns.
High School:
At Tomball High School lettered three years in softball as a center fielder...Helped lead Tomball to the State 5A title game in 2004 and to the state semifinals in 2005...earned Preseason All-Greater Houston First-Team honors...named First-Team All-District three times.
