Appeared in four games … scored a pair of points in a win over Sul Ross State in the season opener (11/12) … pulled down a rebound versus UT Tyler … saw action in the Bobcats semifinal match up against McNeese State in the conference tournament … also saw minutes versus Nicholls.

Culver-Stockton College

Attended Culver-Stockton for one year, but was injured most of the season with a broken hand.

High School

Letterwinner at Wharton High School under coaches Raymond Lopez and Mike Majors … averaged 16.7 points per game, 6.0 assists per game and 4.5 rebounds per game at Wharton during his junior – senior year … earned all-district and all-county honors junior and senior year … was the 3A Region IV District 26 leading scorer and three-pointer during his junior season … received all-academic honors sophomore through senior year … Wharton won the district championships his junior year … was also a member of the football team as a free safety and outside linebacker … played in the Maypearl Texas Round-Up All-Star game ... selected to academic all-american camp … a member of the National Honor Society and graduated with distinguished honors.

Major is communication studies … born on March 26 in Hungerford, Texas … son of David and Jennifer Kirschke … has eight siblings, Melody, Becky, Matthew, Luke, Ashley, Caleb, Faith and Hollis … enjoys swimming, floating, sports and movies … played AAU for the Brandon Bass Elite.
