SAN MARCOS, Texas – Texas State volleyball, the Pac-12 Conference and head coach Sean Huiet have announced the Bobcats' 2026 schedule, which includes a home-and-home league slate against all eight Pac-12 opponents as well as four non-conference tournaments, featuring in-state and regional rivals. The regular season will conclude with a Pac-12 Championship for the first time in the league's 110-year history.
Texas State opens the season with a pair of exhibition contests inside Strahan Arena at the University Events Center, hosting Abilene Christian on August 15 and Lamar on August 22 before officially beginning the regular season with the Texas State Invitational August 28-30. The event features former Sun Belt Conference rival Louisiana and SEC foe Oklahoma as the Bobcats welcome fans back to San Marcos for the opening weekend of the season.
The Bobcats continue tournament play on the road with trips to Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (Sept. 3-5), Stephen F. Austin (Sept. 10-12) and Houston (Sept. 18-19), with the full lineup of opponents listed below.
League competition begins when Texas State hosts Utah State (Sept. 24) and Colorado State (Sept. 26) to kick off Pac-12 action in San Marcos.
The conference schedule also includes matchups with Oregon State, Boise State, Gonzaga, Washington State, San Diego State and Fresno State to complete the double round robin format. The first-ever Pac-12 Championship will take place the week of November 23 at the campus site of the institution with the highest first half conference winning percentage and will include four teams. Exact dates will be determined by the host school.
The nine Pac-12 schools have combined for 14 NCAA Tournament appearances over the last six seasons.
The Bobcats are departing the Sun Belt Conference with a 150-32 league record, which includes a 23-7 record in SBC Tournament action. Overall, the Bobcats won five SBC tournament championships and a pair of regular season titles, while making six NCAA postseason appearances across 13 seasons in the league.
