We capped the football season with our third consecutive bowl victory, defeating Rice in the Lockheed Martin Armed Forces Bowl. Just as important, Bobcat Nation delivered again with a tremendous crowd. Fort Worth was electric, and the massive turnout sent a clear message on a national stage that Texas State fans show up. Thank you for answering the call in such an incredible way!

The bowl win marked our fourth straight football victory, carrying tremendous momentum into the offseason as we prepare for our move to the Pac-12.  But momentum only carries us forward if we act on it immediately.

Right now, NIL is the deciding factor in roster retention and transfer portal success. We are competing daily with programs that have deep, established NIL resources, and the decisions we make in the coming days and weeks will determine how ready we are to compete on day one in the Pac-12.
