Alyssa Clark was named Sun Belt Setter of the Week for week 10.
Alyssa Clark had a lights-out weekend in the Bobcats 2-0 weekend against Southern Miss with 41 digs in seven sets. Clark's 5.86 digs per set was the most of any player in the league this weekend. She was a key part in the Bobcats limiting Southern Miss to just a .157 attack percentage.
Clark recorded 25 digs in the Bobcats 4-setter with Southern Miss, one of the best marks for a four-setter all weekend. As a team, Texas State was one of the best in the league with 17.14 digs per set. Clark also contributed with nine assists, an ace and a kill this weekend.
This is Clark's first Sun Belt Defensive Player of the Week Award of her career.
The Bobcats are back home this weekend for Senior Weekend against Coastal Carolina on Nov. 7 and 8 at 6 and 12 pm. Both games will be streamed on ESPN+ or fans can buy tickets at txst.com/tickets.
