SAN MARCOS, Texas – Texas State women's tennis fell 1-4 to UTSA on Saturday and moved to 1-2 on the season. Â
Â
"We knew this was going to be a tough match," said Texas State women's tennis head coach
Kendall Brooks. "I was excited to clinch the doubles point, but unfortunately we didn't keep that momentum going into singles. Started a bit flat, and although we competed hard it just wasn't enough today. Learned some good lessons and it was good to be pushed like this early in the season. We will get back to work next week before heading on the road again."
