SAN MARCOS, Texas – The final week of the regular season for the Texas State men's basketball team (12-17, 5-11 Sun Belt) beings on Tuesday when it hosts ULM (11-16, 6-9 Sun Belt) at 7 p.m. in Strahan Arena.

About Texas State
The Bobcats snapped a three-game losing streak on Saturday with a 68-59 win at Georgia State. Entering Tuesday, the team has won four consecutive home games with all of them coming since the start of the month.
Since
Davion Sykes entered the starting lineup at the beginning of the month, he has been a force to deal with for opposing teams. The sophomore is averaging 12.5 points and 8.3 rebounds per game while going 38-for-76 (50.0%) from the floor in that time. He has also recorded four double-doubles in that time.
Overall,
Jordan Mason leads the team at 12.6 ppg and is making a team best 78.3% of his free throws. The sophomore is also first on the squad with 32 steals and second with 66 assists.
Brandon Love enters Saturday netting 10.5 ppg and grabbing 5.6 rpg. He has blocked 44 shots, which ranks fourth in the Sun Belt and is tied for the fourth most by a TXST player in a season.
Kaden Gumbs is dishing out 3.5 assists a contest, which ranks fifth in the conference. His 29 steals are second on the Bobcats while he is scoring 9.1 ppg.
Both
Coleton Benson and
Dylan Dawson are threats from beyond the arc. Benson has knocked down 32 three-pointers at a team-high 41.6% mark. Dawson is shooting 33.6% from deep with a team best 45 made triples.
About ULM
The Warhawks have dropped two of their last three games with both losses coming against Troy. On the road, they are 3-10 this season with a 2-5 mark in conference play.
Nika Metskhvarishvili leads ULM with 12.5 ppg, 6.0 rpg and 14 blocks. He is second with 52 assists and 23 steals. Tyreke Locure is putting up 11.1 ppg with a team-high 43 made treys. He also paces the squad with 84 assists, 71 made free throws and 52 steals.
The trio of Jalen Bolden (7.7 ppg, 5.9 rpg), Savion Gallion (8.8 ppg, 42.4 3FG%) and Tyreese Watson (9.0 ppg) have recorded 22 steals apiece.
All-Time Series vs. Warhawks
Overall, the all-time series between Texas State and ULM is tied 32-32. The Bobcats have won 13 of the last 15 meetings including a 67-54 contest in Monroe on Jan. 13. The two setbacks both came last season.
TXST is 16-13 when hosting the Warhawks. Since joining the Sun Belt, the Bobcats have posted a 7-4 record against ULM in Sun Belt action.
