SAN MARCOS, Texas – A game that was originally scheduled to be played Saturday night, the Texas State men's basketball team (7-13, 1-7 Sun Belt) will now face Louisiana (11-8, 4-3 Sun Belt) at noon on Sunday inside the Cajundome.

The Ragin' Cajuns had their game on Thursday against Arkansas State postponed to Friday due to a power outage prior to the contest. That game will not take place on Friday at 4 p.m. and thus pushing back the Bobcats' contest in Lafayette, Louisiana by a day.

TXST will be looking to snap a three-game losing streak after falling at Troy on Wednesday.
Dylan Dawson was the lone Bobcat to reach double-figures in the game with 12 points as he knocked down four three-pointers.

Jordan Mason continued to lead the team offensively at 13.2 points per game with a team best 76.8 free throw percentage. He is second on the team with 48 assists and 17 steals.
Brandon Love enters netting 11.3 ppg, grabbing 5.8 rebounds a contest and has blocked 37 shots, which ranks third in the Sun Belt Conference.

Also with a double-digit scoring mark this season is
Kaden Gumbs at 10.3 ppg. The freshman is fourth in the league with 3.7 assists per game and is tied for seventh with a 1.6 assist-to-turnover ratio.

Dawson comes in having made a team leading 34 attempts from beyond the arc and is shooting 32.4% from deep.
Coleton Benson has made 18 three-pointers at a 43.9% clip.

About Louisiana
The Cajuns enter the weekend having won three straight games and four of their last five. At home, they are 5-1 with the lone loss coming on Jan. 4 against then 19th-ranked James Madison by a score of 68-61.

Kobe Julien leads the Sun Belt in scoring with 18.0 ppg. The junior has is shooting 47.4% from the field, 39.4% on three-pointers with 37 made treys and is averaging 4.4 rpg. Both Joe Charles (9.4 rpg, 29 blks) and Themus Fulks (4.9 apg) are putting up 11.0 ppg.

Hosana Kitenge enter making a team best 54.4% of his shot attempts and is netting 10.6 ppg. Also with a double-digit scoring mark is Kentrell Garnett (10.2). He has made 44 shots from beyond the arc and is shooting 43.1% on three-point attempts.

All-Time Series vs. Ragin' Cajuns
Louisiana leads the all-time series 20-7, have won the last five meetings and seven of the last nine. In the first go-around this year, the Cajuns won 86-68 in San Marcos on Jan. 17. That game saw both Gumbs (17) and Sykes (16) set new career highs in points.

The Bobcats' last win in the series came on the road by a score of 82-73 on Feb. 10, 2022. When facing Louisiana on the road, TXST is 3-8 all-time with all three victories coming over a four-game stretch from Jan. 18, 2020 to the forementioned game in 2022.
