SAN MARCOS, Texas – Texas State football will officially kick off its 2023 season at 6 pm CT on September 2 at Baylor as the Bobcats' game times for two of the first three weeks of the season were announced on Wednesday.
In addition to the 6 pm game in Waco to open the season, the Bobcats will also play at 6 pm CT in their home opener against Jackson State at Bobcat Stadium. Both the Baylor and Jackson State games will be broadcast on ESPN+.
The kickoff time for the I-35 Rivalry matchup at UTSA on September 9 will be announced at a later date.
The game times for the remaining five home contests will be announced in June.
For the Sun Belt Conference away games, the kickoff times will be announced by the host schools later in the summer.
Season tickets are available now for the six-game home schedule and start at $80 for general admission. For special groups, such as Texas State faculty and staff, recent Texas State alumni ('18-'22), Bobcat Club members, and "T" Association members, season ticket packages start at $70.
