BRYAN, Texas- Senior Evan White teed off in the opening round of the 2022 Men's Golf Regionals Monday morning at Traditions Club. 
 
White finished the day ninth among 10 individuals. He ended round one seven-over 79.
 
He started out strong on the front nine with an even par on hole one and ended with five-over entering the back nine. White secured a birdie on hole 11 to put him at four-over par. In round one, White had 10 pars. 
 
Justin Gums from TCU will enter the second round as the top individual shooting two-under. 
 
With the 13 teams and 10 individuals competing at the Bryan Regional, hosted by Texas A&M, White is tied for 63^rd. 

The top individual not associated with an advancing team will qualify for a spot at the 2022 NCAA Men's Golf Championships in Scottsdale, Arizona on May 27-June 1.

White will tee off tomorrow in round two of the NCAA Regionals at 9:31 a.m. along with the other nine individuals and Texas Southern on hole No. 1.
