BOULDER CITY, Nev.- Texas State concludes the Jackrabbit Invitational as Champions after three rounds and two days of play, and
Fabian Sunden tied for fourth.
"I'm super proud of the team with their great final round today," said men's golf head coach
Shane Howell.
"They came to play in the final round and put together a special round to get the win. It was a total team effort and all of the guys contributed to the victory. We look forward to getting back to San Marcos and working hard in preparation for the All-American tournament in Houston next week."

Texas State moved up one spot from day one to win the Jackrabbit Invitational with four-under 860. They finished above 12 other Division I schools from across the nation.
The team had 21 birdies in round three, the highest of the competition in the round.
Individual
Senior
Fabian Sunden tied for fourth three-under par 213. Sunden had three birdies and an eagle in the final round.
There was a three-way finish for first. Willis Gaer from Eastern Kentucky, Griffin Parker from Northern Iowa, and Ty Kretz from South Dakota State were four-under par.
Wyatt Koricanek tied for sixth going even.
Evan White tied for 11
th, he had four birdies in a row on holes four through seven.
