Texas State Hall of Honor inductee looks back at his Texas State career

SAN MARCOS, Texas – In the newest States Up podcast, former Texas State quarterback and one of this year's inductees into the Texas State Hall of Honor Bradley George looks back it his career as a Bobcat as well as what it means to be enshrined with the highest honor for Bobcat athletes.

George was an all-conference offensive player of the year and led Texas State to a Southland Conference championship in 2008. But his career got off to a late start as he pursued a career in professional baseball for four years before enrolling at Texas State in January 2005. The New Braunfels native, though, made the most of his opportunity despite the start date, and he still remains among the best quarterbacks to ever wear a Bobcat uniform.

In this episode, George looks back at his Texas State career, including the decision to commit to Texas State as a 22-year-old as well as some of the big games in conference and playoffs. He also shares what it was like to play for some of the former Texas State coaches and what his career has looked like since graduating in 2009.

The podcast can be heard on SpotifyApple, Amazon Music, and Google.
