Box Score 2 LUBBOCK, Texas — The Texas State volleyball program snapped its road woes Saturday night when the Bobcats knocked off Rhode Island in three sets to close out the Red Raider Classic. Earlier in the day, Texas State dropped a four-set contest against No. 6 Ohio State.
FROM HEAD COACH SEAN HUIET
"It was great to get that first win; I think this group needed that. We have been battling some great competition and to finally see all of it come together consistently was nice. I was really proud of Ryann (Torres) stepping in for (Emily) DeWalt and running the offense. She did some really nice things and provided a spark we needed. Lauren (Teske) did a great job both offensively and defensively this weekend, so it was nice to see her on the all-tournament team."
