SAN ANTONIO – Texas State wrapped up the season opening Lone Star Invitational with a fourth-place finish. The Bobcats shot a 9-over par 297 on Tuesday's final round at the TPC San Antonio and posted a 25-over 889 for the event.

INDIVIDUALS
Wyatt Koricanek fired a team-low even par 72 in the third round with two birdies over his final three holes. For the tournament, he finished in a tie for 10 with a 6-over 222.
Carding a 1-over 73 on the day was
Evan White. The senior sunk four birdies on the day with back-to-back ones coming on the 17th and 18th holes. He wrapped up the 54-hole event with a 9-over 225.
Both
Kasper Nyland and
Fabian Sunden posted 4-over 76s on the day. Nyland concluded the back nine holes with a birdie and then an eagle on the par 5, 591-yard 18th hole. His eagle was the second of the tournament. Sunden was TXST's top finisher at 3-over 219 to tie for sixth while Nyland came in 13th with a 7-over 223.
Terrin Anderson, competing as an individual, finished tied for 22nd overall at 9-over 225. He recorded a 3-over 75 on Tuesday with three birdies on the back nine.

TEAM
Texas State finished four shots back of Louisiana for third while holding off Lamar by two strokes. UTSA won the tournament at 4-over 868 and New Mexico State were runners-up at 16-over 880.
