SAN MARCOS, Texas — On April 27 and 28, the Texas State cheer program competed at the 2021 UCA College National Championships in Orlando, Florida. The Bobcats placed third in the All-Girl Division 1A and took sixth in the Division 1A Coed Game Day competitions.
"We are grateful that we were able to travel and compete this season. Our goal was to win our routines and continue to raise the bar for our program. All season long we focused on the things we could control - our effort and attitudes," said Texas State Spirit Program Coordinator/Head Cheer Coach
Jocelyn Stephens.
"I cannot applaud this group enough on their positivity, growth, flexibility, and commitment they displayed in this unique year. They worked hard all year and I'm so proud of the success they achieved in competition to close our season."
