SAN MARCOS, Texas –The Texas State women's tennis team suffered its fourth straight loss as the Bobcats fell a 4-0 at Louisiana in a Sun Belt Conference match Saturday on Cajun Courts.
Texas State (5-9, 0-5 in the Sun Belt) looks to win its first Sun Belt Conference match when the Bobcats travel to ULM (8-4, 2-3) at 10 a.m. on Sunday.
DOUBLES RESULT
Louisiana (7-4, 3-1) clinched the double point by winning the No. 2 and No. 3 matches.
Renata Gonzalez and
Sofia Murcia-Rodriguez suffered a 6-0 loss on the No. 3 court versus Lucie Raquin and Dana Radovanovic.
Chacadyah Israel-Lewis and
Nikita Pradeep fell 6-1 in the No. 2 contest against Isabell Kierkegaard and Christiana Jordan.
SINGLES RESULTS
The Cajuns took a 2-0 lead when
Rishona Israel-Lewis fell 6-2, 6-3 against Clara Mantaux in the No. 2 match.
Renata Gonzalez suffered a 6-4, 6-1 loss against Radovanovic in the No. 6 contest.
Sofia Murcia-Rodriguez suffered a 6-4, 7-6 loss versus Jordan after dropping the second-set tiebreaker 7-1 in the fourth-seeded match.

Texas State travels to ULM in another Sun Belt Conference match at 10 a.m. in Monroe, La. The Bobcats travel to UTSA on April 9 before closing out the regular season with a home match against UTA on April 10.
