i - The Texas State men's team concluded its fall schedule with an 11th place finish at the Hoakalei CC Invitational on Oct. 25-26.
The University of Hawai'i hosted the 54-hole tournament at the Hoakalei Country Club located in the county and city of Honolulu.
The Bobcats finished the tournament with a three-round score of 891 on the par-72, 7,099-yard course after firing a 10-over-par 298 in the final round. The Bobcats opened the tournament shooting a 302 total before bouncing back with a three-over-par 291 in the second round.
Junior
Terrin Anderson led the Bobcats in the second straight tournament with his second top 20 finish of the season, tying for 18th place with a four-over-par 220 total through three rounds. Anderson posted Texas State's best round in the tournament, firing a two-under-par 70 in the second round. He opened the tournament with a one-over-par 73 before shooting a five-over-par 77 in Tuesday's final round.
Fabian Sunden and
Kasper Nyland tied for 24th place after shooting a five-over-par and finished the tournament with Texas State's best scores in the final round. Sunden shot a one-under-par 71 on Tuesday, while Nyland fired even par on the last day. They both finished with a three-round five-over-par 221 total.
Evan White shot six-over-par in each of the final two rounds and finished with a 16-over-par, 232 total.
Jack Burke ended the tournament with a 17-over score of 233 after shooting a four-over-par 76 in the first and third rounds.
