SAN MARCOS, Texas – The Texas State men's basketball team (20-5, 9-3 Sun Belt) concludes its two-game road trip in Arkansas when the Bobcats play at Little Rock (10-15, 5-7) at 3 p.m. on Feb. 16 at the Jack Stephens Center.
The Bobcats enter the game with a three-game winning streak after overcoming a 16-point first-half deficit and defeating Arkansas State 84-74 in Jonesboro, Ark. The Bobcats won their two previous games against Appalachian State (74-71) on Feb. 7 and Coastal Carolina (65-57) on Feb. 9 in Strahan Arena.
The win over Arkansas State was

For the ninth consecutive week, Texas State has been ranked in the CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major Top 25 poll, remaining at No. 20 in the latest rankings.
The Bobcats are back at the top of the league standings following the victory at Arkansas State. Texas State leads the Sun Belt Conference in scoring defense (64.2 ppg) and field goal defense percentage (40.1). Texas State ranks second in three-point field goal percentage defense (28.9 ppg). Offensively the team ranks No. 9 in the Sun Belt with 75.2 points per game and leads the conference with 15.6 assists per game and ranks second with a 1.2 assists-to-turnover ratio.

ABOUT LITTLE ROCK
Little Rock (10-15, 4-7 in Sun Belt) enters Saturday's game tied for eighth place with South Alabama and holds the tiebreaker with two wins over the Jaguars. The Trojans are coming off a 56-52 victory over UT Arlington last Thursday night and enters Saturday's game with a three-game winning streak. Little Rock also won at Troy (84-70) on Feb. 7 and at South Alabama (91-62) on Feb. 9.
Rayjon Tucker leads the Trojans and ranks fifth among the Sun Belt's scoring leaders with 20.1 points per game. Tucker ranks 12th among the league's rebounding leaders with a 6.8 average. Markquis Eaton and Jaizec Lottie rank fourth and fifth in the Sun Belt with 4.5 and 4.1 assists per game, respectively. Eaton also ranks fifth in steals (1.5) and Lottie is seventh (1.4) among Sun Belt leaders.
