FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - The Texas State men's basketball team looks to win its 11th game of the season when the Bobcats play a non-conference game at Arkansas at 1 p.m. on Saturday afternoon in Bud Walton Arena.
The SEC Network will televise the game with Kevin Fitzgerald and Pat Bradley calling the action. The game also airs on AM 1300 in Austin and on the Texas State Sports Network at TuneIn.com with Bobcat veteran announcer
Bill Culhane calling the action. In addition, the game will be joined in progress on KTSW (89.9 FM) following Texas State's women's basketball game.

After equaling its second-best start in school history with a 10-1 record, the Texas State men's basketball team is ranked No. 20 in the latest CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major Top 25 poll. The Bobcats enter Saturday's game having won eight games after posting a 77-68 victory at the University of Texas-Rio Grande Valley on Dec. 15.
Senior guard
Tre'Larenz Nottingham scored 19 points to lead four players in double figures for Texas State.
Nijal Pearson scored 16 points, while
Eric Terry netted 15 and
Alex Peacock had 10. Nottingham scored 12 of his points in the first half as the Bobcats overcame a 16-12 deficit to lead 39-35 halftime.
The eight-straight wins is the longest winning streak for the Bobcats since 1993-94 when they entered the NCAA Tournament having won 10 straight games. The victory also gives Texas State eight consecutive non-conference wins since 1951-52.
SCOUTING ARKANSAS
Arkansas enters Saturday's game with a 7-3 record this season and looking to rebound from a 75-69 loss against Georgia Tech on Dec. 19 at Bud Walton Arena. The Razorbacks are 5-2 in home games this season after dropping their last two home games against Western Kentucky (78-77) on Dec. 8 and Georgia Tech.
The Razorbacks enter Saturday with 1-0 record against Sun Belt Conference teams after defeating UT Arlington 78-60 in the Hardwood Showcase on Nov. 23.
THE SERIES
Texas State enters Saturday's game looking for its first win against Arkansas after dropping the first three games in a series that began on Dec. 4, 2001. The Razorbacks have a 3-0 record against the Bobcats after posting a 73-67 victory in the last game between the two schools on Dec. 6, 2005.
