SAN MARCOS – It's time to purchase season tickets for Texas State Volleyball! The Bobcats are ready for another exciting season in front of one the most spirited volleyball fanbases in the Sun Belt Conference and you can be a part of it.
 
Season tickets are on sale now for $40. Special groups such as Bobcat Club donors, Texas State faculty and staff, recent alumni (2012-16), T-Association members and groups of 10 or more can receive a discounted rate of $30 per season ticket.
 
To purchase season tickets, all of which are general admission, fans can go online here, call 512-245-2272 or visit the Mark & Linda Smith Athletic Ticket Office located at Bobcat Stadium. Season ticket holders from last season can renew online by logging into their accounts here.
 
Single-match tickets will go on sale at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 9. Groups of 10 or more interested in attending single matches should contact Brian Walthall at 512-245-2363 or at jbw@txstate.edu to learn more about discounted rates and special fan experiences.
 
Fans of the Bobcats set the volleyball attendance record against Baylor in 2014 when a raucous 3,591 fans piled into Strahan Coliseum. This season the Bobcats welcome Baylor back to San Marcos for the season opener on Tuesday, Aug. 30. After that, Texas State will host Stephen F. Austin, Kennesaw State and Tulsa for the Bobcat Classic Sept. 2-3.
 
Next, the Bobcats will welcome 2015 Big South Champion Coastal Carolina to the Sun Belt in the team's conference home opener on Fri., Sept. 30. Appalachian State will follow that Sunday before Texas State faces the 2015 Sun Belt Champion Arkansas State Red Wolves followed by the Little Rock Trojans on Oct. 7 and Oct. 8.
 
The final home stretch of the season will be against UT Arlington on Oct. 25, UL Lafayette on Oct. 28 and UL Monroe on Oct. 29 before finishing up on the road and heading to Arlington for the Sun Belt Conference Championship.
